Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda held negotiations in Dushanbe on 10 March.

The meeting took place in preparation for the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, which will be held in the capital of Tajikistan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of investment projects, including the joint production of cars and tires.

Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are considered strategic partners, and the volume of their mutual trade reached US$504.4 million in 2023.
