Uzbekistan and Spain discuss tourism development and transport corridors.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21 February 2025, Munira Aminova, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Ricardo Martínez Vázquez, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the ambassador emphasized Uzbekistan’s importance as a key partner for Spain in Central Asia and expressed readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations. Special attention was given to the development of tourism ties, including prospects for increasing tourist flows between the two countries.
Additionally, discussions covered issues related to transport infrastructure, particularly the need to improve logistics and expand transport corridors to optimize trade flows.
