Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan organized a working trip to the production site of the South Korean company Woomin.

During the trip, diplomats held negotiations with the company’s management, including the head of Oh Jung Hwan, and got acquainted with the production facilities and work process, Dunyo news agency reports.

Woomin specializes in rice cultivation, husking and packaging. As a result of previous meetings, agreements on cooperation were reached, and the trip provided an opportunity to become more familiar with the production and discuss the prospects for introducing modern technologies into rice processing processes in Uzbekistan.

Woomin management emphasized the potential for improving the quality of rice products and reducing losses during the purification of raw materials using modern technologies in Uzbekistan.

Based on the results of the working visit, measures were developed to continue mutual cooperation.
