Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A delegation from the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by the Director of the Agency "Uzaviatsiya," Tokhir Nazarov, is participating in the international ICAO ICAN-2024 meeting in Kuala Lumpur, focused on air communication negotiations.

ICAN 2024 serves as a platform for bilateral, regional, and multilateral negotiations and consultations in the field of air transport, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

During the event, the head of the Uzbek delegation signed a new intergovernmental agreement between Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concerning air communication.

Additionally, the Uzbek delegation plans to conduct negotiations with representatives from 16 countries to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of air transport.
