Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 September, a meeting took place in Tashkent between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, and Russia’s Minister of Energy, Sergey Tsivilev. The primary goal of the meeting was to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector.
The discussions covered topics such as strengthening comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, attracting investment in the fuel and energy complex, and implementing new joint projects. The ministers reviewed proposals for gradually enhancing energy ties between Uzbekistan and Russia.
Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on creating favorable conditions for further development of bilateral cooperation and the exchange of modern technologies.
At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that this dialogue will serve as the foundation for further development of cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
