Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan and the Federal Service for Labor and Employment of Russia held a meeting in Tashkent.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of vocational training, labor migration and labor inspection.

A meeting with the participation of heads of departments and relevant ministries was held in Tashkent within the framework of the Uzbek-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.

Issues of ensuring decent and safe working conditions, social protection, protection of life and health, protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens working in Russia, as well as the creation of reliable mechanisms in these areas were discussed.

Members of the delegation also got acquainted with the activities of the KOICA Vocational Training Center.
