Uzbekistan and Romania sign protocol to agreement on avoiding double taxation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan and Romania signed a protocol on introduction of changing to Convention on avoiding double taxation and preventing evasion from payment of income tax and capital.
The protocol was inked in Bucharest on 4 July 2016 within the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Romania. The agreement was signed on 6 June 1996.
Chairperson of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Botir Parpiev and State Secretary of Ministry of Public Finance of Romania Gabriel Biris signed the document.
The protocol to the Convention introduced new clauses in line with international standards of tax transparency.
