Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ashraf Khojaev met with the rector of the Diplomatic Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Abdulaziz Al-Hurr, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the meeting, the rapid development of relations between the two countries was noted, and the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of education was emphasized.

The issues of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Diplomatic Academy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar in the field of diplomatic training and education were discussed.

As a result of the visit, an agreement was reached on a detailed study of the issue of the visit of the UWED delegation to Qatar. The parties also agreed to organize training courses and allocate quotas for UWED students and teachers.
