Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 October, a meeting took place between Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Marek Calko, Deputy Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

The meeting was also attended by Marcin Wakara, Charge d’Affaires at the Polish Embassy in Uzbekistan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed current issues related to bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation. They identified promising areas for further collaboration in priority sectors of the economy, including agriculture, oil and gas, energy, and logistics.

The Uzbek side presented the country’s investment potential and the broad opportunities created for foreign investors. The Polish side highly appreciated the business environment established in Uzbekistan in a short period.

At the end of the negotiations, both parties expressed mutual readiness to develop cooperation and agreed to work together on the agenda items for bilateral collaboration.
