Uzbekistan and Pakistan strengthen cooperation through Chamber of Commerce platform
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with a delegation from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
From the Uzbek side, the meeting was attended by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, and from the Pakistani side by RCCI Vice President Fahad Barlas and Chairman of the “36th International Achievement Awards and Business Opportunities Conference,” Shahraiz Ashraf Malik.
Founded in 1952, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of Pakistan’s leading business organizations. Under its auspices, prestigious events such as the International Achievement Awards (RIAA) and Business Opportunities Conference (BOC) have been successfully held in the UAE, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Egypt.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for trade and economic cooperation, as well as organizational matters for hosting the “36th International Achievement Awards and Business Opportunities Conference” in Tashkent in November 2025.
The forum is expected to gather leading companies in agriculture and agro-innovation, textile and light industry, logistics and transport services, energy and green technologies, tourism and services, as well as pharmaceuticals and medical equipment manufacturing.
As part of the conference, investment projects will be presented with participation from international investors and business representatives, memoranda of cooperation will be signed, and opportunities for creating joint ventures will be discussed.
