Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the rapidly developing Uzbekistan–Pakistan cooperation and outlined priority areas for its further deepening. Special attention was given to expanding trade and economic ties, increasing investment volumes, and strengthening partnerships in the fields of transport, logistics, education, and culture.

The ministers reaffirmed their strong commitment to the effective implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level, emphasizing the importance of consistent and well-coordinated efforts to bring them to fruition.

The key outcome of the meeting was the signing of an Action Plan between the governments of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. The document outlines specific measures for the accelerated implementation of strategically important projects and initiatives, transforming political agreements into practical and measurable outcomes.
