Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Alisher Tukhtaev, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, and Bahrom Yusupov, Uzbekistan’s Trade Advisor, visited the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) on Thursday.

The Uzbek diplomats held a meeting with Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive of TDAP, and Sheriyar Taj, TDAP’s Secretary, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev delivered a brief presentation and screened a video highlighting Uzbekistan’s investment opportunities and trade potential.

Zubair Motiwala provided an overview of TDAP’s operations and key functions.

Both sides agreed to increase the number of trade exhibitions held in each country and promote mutual exchanges of trade delegations.

TDAP’s Secretary Sheriyar Taj extended an invitation to the Uzbek Ambassador to participate in upcoming major events, including exhibitions focused on healthcare, engineering, food, agriculture, and manufacturing, which will be held in Lahore.
