Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Mozambique, Mateus Saize.

During the meeting, the ministers signed an agreement on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The sides discussed practical steps to ensure productive and mutually beneficial cooperation following the formal establishment of diplomatic ties. Particular attention was paid to building a solid legal and institutional framework for the development of future partnership.

“This is an important stage in expanding Uzbekistan’s international cooperation. We are laying a strong foundation for dialogue and joint initiatives in the legal, institutional, and interfaith spheres,” emphasized Bakhtiyor Saidov.
