Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan launched a simplified process for issuing permit forms for international road transport of goods using digital permit forms on 13 April 2024.

Representatives of the Ministries of Transport of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan introduced a system for electronic exchange of permit forms.

Digital permit forms for the transportation of goods to/from third countries will be issued at checkpoints such as Atameken, B. Konysbaeva, Kazygurt, Kaplanbek and Tajen, upon the actual arrival of vehicles at the state border.

This is a significant event in the history of road transport in both countries, which significantly simplifies logistics processes and increases the efficiency of cargo transportation. Such innovations will help reduce waiting times and avoid problems associated with speculation.
