Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen the allied relations between the two brotherly countries and to expand cooperation in the agricultural sector.
The participants also reviewed the possibilities of accelerating the implementation of already agreed-upon projects.
Both parties noted that despite the progress made in bilateral relations, there are significant opportunities for further expanding practical cooperation.
They discussed the prospects for implementing new projects in agricultural science, aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries in areas such as grain production and livestock farming. Attention was also given to increasing the export-import potential.
Additionally, the sides exchanged views on signing promising projects and agreements in the framework of an upcoming high-level state visit scheduled for August.
It was also proposed to organize an international conference for the exchange of scientific experience between research institutes from both countries working in the agro-industrial complex.
