Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 October, representatives from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport, Customs Committee, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport, and customs authorities held a videoconference to address issues related to road freight transport between the two countries.
During the meeting, participants discussed specific challenges affecting cargo transportation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, carefully examining each case causing disruptions in the freight process.
As a result of the discussions, both sides agreed to establish an operational task force consisting of representatives from relevant sectors. The task force's role will be to promptly address and resolve emerging issues and eliminate any obstacles hindering road freight transport between the two nations.
