Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 March, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Bobur Khojaev and a delegation led by Bito Yoshibumi, head of the representative office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Uzbekistan.
The sides discussed the current state of joint projects in the fields of irrigation, agriculture, energy and the social sphere.
The participants also discussed promising areas for the development of bilateral cooperation, including the green economy, investments in human capital and public-private partnership projects in other areas.
The parties also considered the possibility of attracting technical support from the agency to improve and study international experience in the field of industrial policy.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue an active dialogue within the established areas of cooperation.
