Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the international conference on food security held in Samarkand, bilateral negotiations were held between the Ministers of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov and Israel Avi Dichter, Dunyo news agency reports.

During the meeting, Avi Dichter noted the high level of organization of the conference and expressed gratitude for the invitation of the Uzbek side.

Aziz Voitov, presenting the country’s agricultural agenda, emphasized that studying the experience of Israel, the practice of using modern technologies and their implementation in the republic is of interest to Uzbekistan.

In particular, the importance of using Israeli technologies in growing wheat and the widespread use of water-saving technologies was emphasized.

As a result of the agreements reached, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministries of Agriculture of the two countries.
