Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November, Uzbekistan’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Oibek Eshonov presented his credentials to President Subianto Prabowo of Indonesia, as reported by the Dunyo Information Agency.
During a brief conversation following the ceremony, President Prabowo emphasized Indonesia’s high regard for its relations with Uzbekistan, which are based on the principles of friendship, mutual respect, and consideration of interests.
The Indonesian leader also expressed the government’s interest in enhancing political dialogue and strengthening multifaceted cooperation with Tashkent.
President Prabowo noted the significant potential for deepening bilateral partnerships in various areas, including trade, investment, culture, tourism, and humanitarian ties.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Prabowo conveyed words of respect and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan.
The presentation of credentials marks a new stage in the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Indonesia. Both countries have expressed their determination to strengthen bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
