Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the National Agency for Social Protection of Uzbekistan with a delegation led by Annette Kramme, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany.

Annette Kramme praised Uzbekistan’s efforts in the field of social protection.

She also provided information about the care system for vulnerable groups in Germany, including the organization of insurance funds, the ministry’s mandate, financing procedures, and services provided. Special attention was given to the needs assessment procedure, as well as social, medical, and pension insurance.

During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between the Agency and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany were identified.

They discussed employment issues for people with disabilities, their social insurance, provision of social housing, and home care.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange experiences and continue developing cooperation.

The Director of the Agency, Mansurbek Olloyorov, invited representatives of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of Germany to the World Conference "Social Protection: Path to Sustainable Development and Equality," which will be held in Samarkand in 2025.
