Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his visit to Tbilisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze.

According to the Uzbek foreign minister, the meeting was held in a constructive and substantive atmosphere. In a statement published on his official Telegram channel, Bakhtiyor Saidov noted:

“We had a meaningful conversation with His Excellency Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. We discussed the further expansion of cooperation in education, the involvement of youth in joint initiatives, the development of academic exchanges, and the implementation of bilateral scientific projects.”

Special attention during the meeting was given to the prospects for strengthening institutional ties between universities and research institutions in Uzbekistan and Georgia. Both sides expressed mutual interest in creating a sustainable platform for collaboration in the fields of science, education, and youth policy.

Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that youth and education are key elements in building an innovative future and shaping strong human capital, which fosters mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of the two countries.
