The French Embassy in Tashkent said that the document was signed by Director of DGFiP Philippe Rambal and Deputy Finance Minister and Head of Treasury Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov.

The agreement strengthen cooperation between these two state bodies, which helped to create Treasury in Uzbekistan and helped Uzbek specialists to undergo training at National School of State Finances (ENFIP).

In future, the sides will cooperate in other directions of state administration (development of single accounting plans, management of budget resources, strengthening information systems, single treasury accounts, etc) and the cooperation will also cover tax system.

During the visit to France, the delegation of Uzbekistan held meetings with key services of DGFiP and representatives of local administration. They also familiarized with French tax system, tax administration, financial and consulting relations between DGFiP and local bodies.
