Uzbekistan and France Elevate Cooperation in Healthcare Sector
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Rasulov, held a meeting with Georges-Fabrice Blum, Special Representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Healthcare Export, and a delegation from the "French Healthcare" association.
The talks also involved Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber, and representatives of private medical clinics in Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed prospects for joint projects, potential participation of French companies in investment initiatives, implementation of modern medical technologies and telemedicine, as well as training and development of qualified personnel.
Special attention was given to the development of medical tourism: thanks to high-quality services and affordable treatment, Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for patients from neighboring countries. In this context, French specialists may participate in joint operations at Uzbek clinics.
The French delegation expressed readiness to establish direct cooperation between medical associations of the two countries, support the advanced training of Uzbek doctors in leading French clinics, and implement modern medical insurance mechanisms.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in further deepening the partnership, exchanging expertise between clinics, and carrying out joint innovative projects.
