Uzbekistan and CLAAS discuss localization and supply of modern agricultural machinery
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 February, Shokhruh Gulamov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, met with Michael Bayer, Vice President of the German company CLAAS for the Eastern Europe region.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the agricultural sector.
The main focus was on the issues of supplying and localizing modern agricultural machinery.
Founded in 1913, CLAAS is one of the world leaders in the production of combine harvesters, tractors, balers, and other agricultural equipment. The company's manufacturing facilities are located in Germany, France, Russia, and the USA, and its products are exported to over 140 countries worldwide.
