Uzbekistan and China discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 February 2025, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Munira Aminova, met with the Ambassador of China to Uzbekistan, Yu Jun, to discuss key priorities for bilateral cooperation in the coming year and prospects for further collaboration across various sectors.
A particular focus was placed on trade and economic partnership, educational exchanges, and grant programs. Both sides acknowledged the significant progress made in 2024 and emphasized that strengthening bilateral ties remains a strategic priority for both nations.
Additionally, discussions included expanding engagement with the All-China Women's Federation. The parties expressed their willingness to organize joint forums and seminars aimed at enhancing the role of women in the socio-economic and public life of both countries.
The meeting reaffirmed Uzbekistan and China’s commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors, fostering bilateral ties, and supporting new initiatives to strengthen their partnership.
