Uzbekistan and Belarus discuss prospects for tourism cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 March, the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism, Umid Shadiev, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus, A. Ogorodnikov, to discuss key aspects of bilateral tourism cooperation.
The primary focus of the talks was on increasing tourist flows between the two countries. Both parties emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for travelers, including enhancing tourism infrastructure and implementing modern digital platforms to improve visitor services.
The meeting also covered experience exchange, joint projects, and active participation in international exhibitions. Following the discussions, both sides agreed to further develop cooperation to boost the attractiveness of Uzbekistan and Belarus as tourist destinations.
