Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Kahramon Yuldashev, met with Hermann Wiser, the Managing Director of the Austrian Agricultural Cluster.
The meeting focused on the prospects for cooperation with Austrian companies in livestock farming, milk and meat processing, and the establishment of modern agribusinesses in Uzbekistan.
During the discussion, information was provided on the ongoing reforms being implemented in the country under the initiative of the head of state, aimed at developing agriculture by introducing advanced foreign experiences and innovative approaches.
It was emphasized that these measures are increasing the role of farmers and clusters in ensuring food security, as well as the favorable conditions created by the government for their support.
It was also noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has been offering favorable conditions and benefits to foreign companies and investors to implement business projects in the agricultural sector.
At the end of the meeting, the Austrian side expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan on projects related to growing and processing agricultural products in Uzbekistan, as well as improving the qualifications of industry specialists.
