Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 July, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mohammad Irki.
During the discussion, they addressed current issues of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as prospects for expanding partnership relations in priority areas.
Agreements were reached to take necessary measures to increase bilateral trade volumes, establish a joint working group to identify new areas of cooperation, enhance partnership between business entities, identify issues and factors hindering mutual trade relations, and promptly address them.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed readiness to expand cooperation, particularly in sectors such as chemicals, electrical engineering, agriculture, food industry, oil and gas, and tourism, leveraging existing experience in jointly implementing major mutually beneficial initiatives.
