Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The leadership of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the ACWA Power delegation, headed by the chairman of the board of the Saudi company, Muhammad Abdullah Abunayan.

During the meeting, plans for the development of strategic investment projects in the energy sector of Uzbekistan were discussed. ACWA Power has also expressed interest in participating in projects aimed at developing regional infrastructure, including transport and the environment.

The parties discussed the current progress of joint projects, identified common interests and discussed opportunities for further expansion of cooperation. Conditions and prospects for the implementation of specific investment projects were exchanged.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached aimed at deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector, as well as developing transport infrastructure and environmental projects.
