The Uzbeks played a game worthy of a World Cup semifinal with a high-energy play. But both teams exhibite superior ball handling, frequent skilled passing; and balls on the ground rather than long passes.

But the Uzbeks were the kings of the pitch with Tursunboyed Haydaral opening the scoring at the 15 minute mark. Bakhtior Radjapov immediately added to the team's lead.

In the second half, the Turks came forward looking for the equalizers, but with less focused play than in the first half. The Turkish star Telli Baris, one of the best in he world was fast, agile and avery good ball handler. He scored one goal for his team, but could not otherwise unlock the secrets of the Uzbek's defense.

With the final whistle Uzbekistan moved forward to defend its World Cup Champion status, while Turkey will meet Russia for the Bronze medal. Uzbekistan will face against hosts Argentina in the final match.

It is worth to mention that Uzbekistan defeated Brazil with the score 1-0 and played 0-0 draw with Iran in Group Stage. In the Quarterfinal Stage, Uzbekistan defeated England (6-1) and Brazil (4-2) and shared spoils with Russia (3-3).
