Uzbekistan Airways to launch flights to Pakistan, China
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, a national airline of Uzbekistan, will open new flights to Islamabad (Pakistan) and Urumqi (China) in the late of October 2012, the press service of the company said.

The company recalled that it will start winter navigation starting from 28 October 2012.

The airline said that it will launch new flights to Islamabad, Pakistan, and Urumqi (China). Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will fly twice a week from Tashkent to Islamabad and once a week to Urumqi. The airline will conduct flights to Islamabad on A320 planes and to Urumqi on Boeing-767 planes.

The airline said that it is also planning increase frequency of flights to such directions as Dubai, Sharjah and Amritsar. The company said it will fly three times a week to Dubai and Sharjah compared to current two times a week. Number of flights from Tashkent to Amritsar will grow from twice to five a week.

The flights to the CIS cities will not change compared to current navigation, which is evidence for sustainable development of the company.

The company added that winter navigation will be effective from 28 October 2012 to 30 March 2013.
