Uzbekistan advances to third round of WC-2018 qualifiers

Uzbekistan national team progressed to the third round of the qualification round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
In last match of Group H, Uzbekistan recorded a 1-0 victory over Bahrain. Sardor Rashidov netted the only goal of the match on 50 minutes.
In the result, Uzbekistan collected 21 points to top Group H. North Korea was second with 16 points.
Samvel Babayan’s side also booked berth in the final part of the AFC Asian Cup. The tournament will be held in the UAE in 2019.
