Uzbekistan adopts regulation on licensing realtor activity
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a regulation on licensing realtor activity, which will enter into force on 23 June 2011.

The document said that legal entities and individuals can carry out realtor activity. At the same time, individuals can only receive license to render information and consulting services at the real estate market.

Realtor services are mediation at signing deals with real estate objects and rights to them, organization of trades with real estate objects and their rights, asset management, information and consultation services.

Realtor activity is carried out only on the basis of license, issued by authorized state body. According to the regulation, the State Property Committee is authorized state body in realtor activity. The licenses are issued without limitation of term.

From 23 June 2011, the State Tax Committee and State Propety Committee will start to carry out measures against legal entities and individuals, which are carrying out realtor activity without license.

According to the regulation, the realtor organizations should fully form their charter capital before receiving corresponding license.

Realtor organizations, rendering information and consulting services in real estate market, should have charter capital at the size of equal to 100-size of minimum salary.

The charter capital of organizations, rendering mediation services at signing agreements with real estate and rights to them, should have the charter capital equal to 500-size of minimum salary.

The organizations, rendering services on real estate management, should form charter capital equaling to 1000-size of minimum salary, while organizations trading with real estate and rights to them – at least 3000-size of minimum salary.
