Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 July 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 467 approving new regulations governing the management of the national subsoil fund and the state accounting of geological works. The document is aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in Uzbekistan’s geological exploration activities.

Under the resolution, responsibility for maintaining information within the state subsoil fund has been assigned to the State Institution Center for Subsoil Use under the Ministry of Mining and Geology. The fund will include a cadastre and information resources related to geological studies of subsoil reserves.

Two key regulations were approved: the procedure for state accounting of geological works carried out by legal entities and individuals, and the procedure for maintaining the cadastre of the subsoil fund. The system will make use of the Geomonitoring information platform, integrated with the State Tax Committee’s system, enabling fast online data exchange.

The new measures are expected to strengthen oversight of the rational use of subsoil resources, improve geospatial monitoring, and establish a unified digital platform for storing and analyzing geological exploration data.
