The plan consists of three chapters and 14 clauses. In particular, the document envisages measures on improving legislation in the sphere, support representatives of the sphere and improve their skills, etc.

National agency Uzbekkino in cooperation with interested ministries and departments were entrusted to develop a draft law “On cinematography” by the end of third quarter of 2015.

Uzbekkino should also develop a programme on modernization of enterprises of the industry for 2016-2020. The agency also should develop a proposal on creation of the single ticket system.

The plan also envisages measures on improving skills of the representatives of the cinematography via training abroad and online courses, Uzbekkino’s press service said.

Within the document, Uzbekkino and local administrations will study activities of cinema and adopt measures for their efficient activities. It is expected that in each region there will be at least one high-category cinema.

The document also envisages creation of the state films fund. The plan also includes measures on further promotion of local films among population.
