Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Sherzod Kudbiyev met with Enrico Pinali, head of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Permanent Representative Office in Uzbekistan, and representatives of the bank.

The sides discussed priority areas of ongoing and promising projects in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank, the implementation of programs aimed at budget support.

In particular, the parties exchanged views on the ADB Cooperation Strategy with Uzbekistan for 2024-2028 and the main directions of its strategic cooperation, promising projects implemented with the participation of ADB in 2023-2024, as well as issues of developing various sectors of the economy, further increasing activity private sector, increasing investment in the mortgage market.

Also at the meeting, an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation, the achievement of economic efficiency in the development of renewable energy sources in our country.
