There was also an exchange of views on current international and regional issues. The head of our state expressed support for the Secretary-General’s initiatives to ensure international security and stability, reform the UN and its main bodies, and hold the Summit of the Future in New York this year.

Issues of cooperation in the areas of transport connectivity, ensuring food, energy, and information security in the region were discussed.

The situation in Afghanistan was also considered, emphasizing the need to expand humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people and develop a consolidated strategy of the international community regarding this country.
