Uzbekenergo sums up results of 1Q 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Enterprises of Uzbekenergo (Uzbek Energy) state joint stock company increased goods production b 1.5% in the first quarter of 2011.

The press service of the company said that the prime cost on products was decreased by 3.1% in the first three months of 2011.

The companies executed forecast on goods and service exports by 25% surplus in the reporting period and on production of localized goods on the base of local raw material on enterprises with 28% surplus.

The companies adopted measures on realization of investment projects on construction of new, modernization and reconstruction of existing power objects, included to the presidential resolution No. 1445 from 20 December 2010 and No. 1442 from 15 December 2010. Within the investment project, the companies fulfilled forecast on investment use with 28.5% surplus.

Uzbekenergo carried out preparation work on accepting to industrial use of automatic system of account electricity consumption (ASAEC) at thermal power stations. The introduction of the ASAEC is underway at Chirchiq, Kadiriy, Tashkent and Nijne-Bozsu hydro power station.

Within the programme on modernization and updating electricity network of 0.4-6-10-35 kilovolt due to own resources, the company used capital investments for 12.6 billion soums on projects on reconstruction and new construction in the first quarter of 2011.

Within the state programme “The Year of small business and private entrepreneurship”, the industry developed programme, which envisages measures on organization of electricity supply to small businesses and improving its reliability. In the reporting period, the company spent 41.8 billion soums to implementation of the programme. Expenses to implementation of measures on industrial programme were executed with 14.6% surplus to forecast volume.

In the first quarter of 2011, the enterprise created 235 new jobs and 129 outworks.
