Uzbekenergo announces tender on Syrdarya thermal power station
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekenergo state joint stock company announced a tender on project “Scheme on installation of capacities from turbo expender generator set for open distribution facility with voltage of 220 kilovolt for Syrdarya thermal power station”.

Within the tender, the company plans to purchase “Main power equipment” (Lot 1), “Power transformer” (Lot 2) and “Boxes and control board, automated mechanisms, shields” (Lot 3).

In line with the tender terms, the participant can submit proposals on separate lots or on all lots. The lots will not be divided into positions. Both foreign and local producers (suppliers) can participate in the tender.

Lot 2 should be supplied within five months, while Lots 1 and 3 within three months from opening of letter of credit for foreign participants and from payment of advanced payment for local companies.

The supplies will be financed due to own resources of Uzbekenergo, the tender announcement said.

The proposals in envelopes will be opened at the sessions of tender documents. The first session of the tender commission will be held on 1 March 2011.

Syrdarya thermal power station is largest power station of Central Asia. It is equipped with ten power generation. The capacity of the station is 3,000 megawatts.
