The visit of the Uzbek delegation was organized by Agriculture and Fishery Ministry of France, French Association of International Exchange of Agriculture Products and Technologies (ADEPTA), Sofracop consulting firm and Embassy of Uzbekistan in France.
French side developed saturated agenda of the visit, which gave full information on functioning of wine-making industry of France, wine-making technologies, used in this country, the report said.
The Uzbek delegation visited Agriculture and Fishery Ministry of France, where it acquainted with the activity of the ministry, its subdivisions, which coordinate wine-making sphere.
During the visit, the delegation had an opportunity to study wine-making technologies at leading French enterprises, starting from vine plans to bottling of ready products. The Uzbek delegation learnt experience of production of wines, cognacs and cognac products at over 20 enterprises of famous wine regions of France: Bordeaux, Loire, etc. The Uzbek specialists also had an opportunity to study technologies and equipment, which are used in processing of grapes and production of ready products.
The delegation participated at the wine exhibition in Bordeaux - Vinitech 2008, which attracted over 1,000 companies and firms, which offered technologies for breeding grape, crop production, processing of grape, storage of wines and others.
During the visit, Uzvinpromholding’s delegation held negotiations with French and foreign grape farms, producers of accessories and equipment, wine producers, designers, and ready products.
