The talks between Permanent Deputy FM Le Cong Phung and Uzbekistan Deputy FM Anvar Salikhbaev were part of Uzbek delegation’s five-day visit to Vietnam, which began on 29 May.

The guest reiterated his administration’s strong support for Vietnam’s bid for a non-permanent member seat on the UN Security Council for the 2008-09 term.
