Uzbek-Turkmen trade turnover increase 50% in 2008

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan grew almost 50% to US$132.3 million in 2008.

Uzbekistan mainly exports fertilizers, transport and communication services, agriculture equipment, construction materials, tobacco products, fruits and nuts, ferrous metals and products from them, oil seeds and vehicles.

Turkmenistan exports to Uzbekistan polymer of propylene, transport and communication services, minerals and non-organic chemical products.
