The report said representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business circles of Saudi Arabia, engaged in tourism and hotel business, as well as ATO participated in the event.

Participants considered the draft agreement between ATO with corresponding organizations of Uzbekistan. The document envisages opening of ATO office in Uzbekistan and implementing single system of electronic tourism, and organizing of the Uzbek Arabian tourism forum.

A presentation of the Uzbek tourist potential was held at the roundtable. The presentation familiarized participants on achievements of Uzbekistan during the independence years and celebration of 2,200th anniversary of Tashkent city.

Documentary film about the historical and cultural sights, as well as investment potential of tourism sector of Uzbekistan was demonstrated at the event, the report noted.
