The President of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On measures on further improving efficiency of functioning of information-communication systems of the state tax services of Uzbekistan” on 30 October 2012.

The resolution was adopted in order to raise level of accounting and controlling of tax and other mandatory receipts, revealing additional sources of tax receipts and preventing from tax evasion, as well as expanding types and quality of rendering interactive services for tax payers.

The document set main tasks and directions of the work of the State Information-Analytical Department of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan. In particular, one of the tasks of the department is automatic accounting tax and financial reports of tax payers and other information about tax payers.

The resolution said that formation of the single integrated information resource base of tax bodies will be conducted stage-by-stage.

In the first stage till 1 January 2013, the committee will create integrated information base of all regional state tax inspections to central database.

Till 1 January 2015, within the second stage, the committee will integrate all information bases of ministries and departments on debtors to single information base of State Tax Committee.
