The press service of the Uzbek Ministry said that the sides considered issues of expanding bilateral cooperation and giving new dynamic to it in 2012.

It was said that existing mechanisms of the Uzbek-Swiss interaction, such as political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the session of the Intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation, play important role in developing ties.

The sides exchanged opinion on events dedicated to the upcoming 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland.
