Uzbek students present national exhibition in Moscow
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- People’s Friendship University of Russia (PFUR) in Moscow hosted an international student festival, which was dedicated to the International Tolerance Day on 14-16 November 2011. Student organizations and art collectives participated at the work of the event.

At the support of Fund Forum and Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia, national exhibition of students of Uzbekistan – activists of Kelajak Ovozi was held within the forum. The event was dedicated to the culture, traditions and customs of Uzbek people and achievements of Uzbekistan in independence years.

The exhibition presented ancient national robes, gold embroidery products, portraits of Uzbek scholars, ceramics, calligraphy, wood engraving, miniatures, etc.

Irina Yevremova, head of sector of CIS and Russian regions of Departments on work with students of PFUR, said that over 100 students of Uzbekistan study at the PFUR and this is large number. They have good progress (over 96%) and low number of violations. She said that the university is satisfied with the Uzbek students.

Alexander Yermakov, deputy pro-rector on work with students of the PFUR, said that it is pleasant that Uzbekistan representative participated at the festival. He underlined that number of the Uzbek students is increasing at the university.
