The Uzbek side informed the guest on rich tourism potential and historic-cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, as well as reforms conducted in tourism sector.

It was noted that the business circles of France are participating in some projects in tourism sector, including in construction and reconstruction of tourism infrastructure objects.

The sides noted that Uzbekistan has huge potential on development of alternative types of tourism, including mountain tourism.

French side highly rated reforms in tourism sector of Uzbekistan. The French side studied potential of Chimgan and formed vision on development of tourism around Charvaq and Chimmgan. The French side said that recreation tourism can be developed in Charvaq.

The Uzbek side expressed gratitude for study of the French side and said that the State Tourism Committee will provide its assistance in solving issues related to this project.
