Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Shoga Aoki, President of Noritsuisu Co. Ltd. and Motoyoshi Baba, President of Meinan Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, the prospects for strengthening cooperation in the field of sharing best practices on the implementation of international industrial standards were discussed, bearing in mind the organizational aspects of improving the practical skills and qualifications of employees in the field of standardization in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan has allocated grant funds in the amount of US$500,000 for the training of personnel of the republic in the field of standardization.

The executive partner from the Japanese side is Noritsuisu Co., Ltd., which specializes in the production of furniture products. It is planned to train representatives of Uzbekistan on the basics of introducing modern industrial standards based on Japanese experience.

As a result of the meeting with the Japanese side, the issue of a business trip of 20 specialists of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation was agreed upon for training, incl. at the industrial enterprises Noritsuisu Co. Ltd. and Meinan Co., Ltd. Japan in January 2023.
