Uzbek-South Korean cooperation discussed in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent hosted a conference dedicated to discussion of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, UzA reported.

The event was organized in connection with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries. It was organized by the Embassy of Korea in Uzbekistan, Inha University in cooperation with the Institute of strategic and inter-regional research under the President of Uzbekistan.

Scientific-research circles, representatives of educational establishments, businesses and state structures of two states participated at the conference.

The participants noted that the relations between two states are developing gradually in all directions. It was said that the Republic of Korea is long-term, reliable and strategic partner of Uzbekistan.

At the conference, the participants considered current state and perspectives of bilateral cooperation in politics, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The sides considered results of high level negotiations, which were held in Seoul in September 2012.

The participants highly rated huge achievements of Uzbekistan and South Korea in strengthening multilateral partnership.

The conference underlined that trade-economic and investment cooperation help to strengthen bilateral relations, implement large-scale projects. South Korean experts highly rated sustainable economic growth of Uzbekistan despite global financial-economic crisis in the world.
