Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Singapore to Uzbekistan (with residence in Singapore) Mr Sim Cheok Lim, accompanied by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Christopher Gordon. The meeting was held to discuss issues on expansion of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Singapore, the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan said. The sides discussed issues on protocol on introduction of changes to inter-governmental agreement on avoidance of double taxation between Uzbekistan and Singapore, which was inked on 24 July 2008. They also considered issues on possible signing of bilateral agreement on cooperation and exchange of information in tax sphere.
